Continue reading »]]> Just recently, the concept of a car that could parallel park itself was introduced. Now Google has been granted the first license to test a self driving car on Nevada roads. Yep, Google!

I thought about this not too long ago….and actually read about the concept when I was just a kid. However, Google wasn’t around back in those days, nor did us kids ever think it would happen in our lifetime.

The car, a modified Prius, is shown in the video being “not driven” by a legally blind man, accompanied by a “test” human.

The recent blog post about the first self-driven car indicates a test was first made on the Las Vegas Strip as well as in Carson City.

Continue reading »]]> According to Google’s “Inside Search” Blog, another algorithm has been released, designed to improve rankings for “quality” sites and downgrade rankings for “webspam” sites:

“In the next few days, we’re launching an important algorithm change targeted at webspam. The change will decrease rankings for sites that we believe are violating Google’s existing quality guidelines.

We’ve always targeted webspam in our rankings, and this algorithm represents another improvement in our efforts to reduce webspam and promote high quality content.

While we can’t divulge specific signals because we don’t want to give people a way to game our search results and worsen the experience for users, our advice for webmasters is to focus on creating high quality sites that create a good user experience and employ white hat SEO methods instead of engaging in aggressive webspam tactics.”
